Scaling and Animation
Introduction
This blog post is about the scaling and animation of our still image. Maggie and I decided to do our story on a fake Lego land. We based the story around a Lego character, falcon, trying to save his best friend from the evil frog. We thought this story was extremely funny and reminded us of when we played with Legos when we were younger.
The readings were very helpful with learning how to utilize position, scale, and rotation on images and text for animations. For example, Jordy, from the youtube video, went over how to animate the text using positions and keyframes. I utilized this a lot throughout our still image. It was very easy to learn and I will continue to use it on future projects.
My experience
I have used Primere Pro before in another class so editing was very familiar to me. I did however not know how to edit text and animations. I found it very exciting learning all of these new techniques. Editing the audio was easy, I used the razor tool to cut and line up the voiceover. I also utilized exponential fades in and out. Additionally, I made sure the audio levels were correct and increased the sound of the audio using keyframes when there was no voiceover. In conclusion, this was not hard to edit but I had fun learning animations.
